Four modules.
One integration lifecycle.

BOOLINOR's service catalogue maps directly to the four stages at which development teams most commonly need structured support: first API implementation, multi-system integration design, automation and testing, and enterprise-scale consulting. Select the module that matches your current requirement.

Service Modules

What BOOLINOR delivers.

Each module is a self-contained service specification with defined scope, deliverables and outcomes. Modules can be taken individually or combined into a full API capability programme.

01

REST API Training

Hands-on training from HTTP fundamentals to production-ready authenticated REST API design and documentation. Suitable for individual developers and full engineering teams.

HTTP methods, status codes, resource design
OAuth 2.0, JWT and Bearer authentication
Pagination, error handling, rate limiting
OpenAPI 3.0 documentation
Postman and automated collection testing
02

Integration Architecture

System design and middleware configuration for teams connecting multiple applications, services and platforms. Covers patterns, data mapping and long-term maintainability.

Sync, async, event-driven and message queue patterns
Middleware selection and API gateway setup
Data mapping, transformation, schema management
Failure modes, retry logic, circuit breakers
Integration testing across distributed services
03

API Automation

Full CI/CD lifecycle for API-driven systems: automated testing suites, webhook delivery infrastructure, monitoring and contract testing in development pipelines.

Automated API testing: unit, integration, contract
Webhook delivery, retry queues, delivery confirmation
CI/CD pipeline integration for API deployments
Monitoring: uptime, latency and error rate tracking
Versioning and deprecation automation
04

Enterprise Integration

Custom consulting and hands-on implementation for organisations managing complex API ecosystems. Covers existing system audits, roadmapping, governance and direct implementation support.

Existing API estate audit and gap analysis
Integration roadmap and dependency mapping
API governance policy and standards documentation
Hands-on implementation and code review
Handover documentation and knowledge transfer
Delivery Detail

How each module is configured and delivered.

Before any BOOLINOR module begins, we complete a scoping session with the client contact to understand the team's current API capability, the systems they work with, and the specific outcomes they are trying to achieve. This takes approximately 90 minutes and produces a written scope document used to configure the module.

Modules are delivered either on-site at the client's location, at our Billingham office, or fully remotely using video conferencing and shared development environments. Remote delivery uses the same structured format and produces the same outcomes as in-person training.

Standard module durations range from four weeks (REST API Training, single developer) to twenty weeks (Enterprise Integration, large team). Timelines are agreed at scoping and include defined milestones, progress reviews and a final handover session.

Extended

Common Questions

Frequently asked about BOOLINOR modules.

Clear answers to the questions most clients ask before starting a programme.

No prior API experience is required for the REST API Training module. The programme begins at HTTP fundamentals and builds from there. Developers should have a working knowledge of at least one programming language and understand basic web concepts such as requests, responses and status codes. The module is built for developers who have heard of APIs and worked near them — not necessarily for those who have designed and implemented them independently.
Yes. Modules are designed to chain logically. A common combination is REST API Training followed by Integration Architecture, giving a development team both the foundational API skills and the system design understanding needed to connect multiple services correctly. Full-stack combinations including all four modules are available for teams building complete API capability from the ground up. Combined programmes include a shared handover package covering all modules.
BOOLINOR works with teams of all sizes. Individual developer programmes are structured for one-to-one intensive delivery over a compressed timeline. Small team programmes (two to eight developers) are the most common format and allow group exercises and peer review as part of the training structure. Large team programmes (nine or more) are run in cohort groups with coordinated delivery, shared environments and a lead trainer plus a supporting consultant.
Yes. BOOLINOR delivers on-site training throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Travel arrangements are included in the engagement agreement. For organisations outside the United Kingdom, remote delivery is the standard format, using video conferencing and shared cloud development environments configured to match the client's technology stack.
The handover package is specific to each engagement and includes: a complete endpoint inventory for all APIs covered or built during the module; authentication configuration documentation including token management procedures; an error response matrix listing all handled error conditions and their expected resolution paths; a testing coverage report showing which endpoints are covered by the automated tests built during the module; monitoring setup recommendations; and a list of known limitations or areas recommended for further development. The package is delivered as a structured document set in a format specified by the client.
Yes, and this is the most common starting point for the Enterprise Integration module. We begin with an audit of the existing API estate, identify gaps, redundancies, security risks and documentation deficiencies, then produce a prioritised remediation and improvement roadmap. Training can then be structured around the actual endpoints and integration patterns your team works with, making it directly applicable to the systems already in use rather than working on abstract examples.
Following an initial enquiry, BOOLINOR responds within two business days with a programme recommendation. If the recommendation is accepted, a scoping session is scheduled within one week. Subject to environment setup time and any required access provisioning on the client's side, modules can begin within two to four weeks of initial contact for standard engagements. Enterprise Integration modules that require significant audit work may have a longer preparation phase, which is outlined in the scoping document.
